The Many Stages of Bluegrass;
seen thru Wooville Eyes

My wooville friends and myself have been festival goers for nearly 20 years and have looked upon about every kind of bluegrass stage imaginable. There have been flatbed trucks, trailers, porches, a caboose, shelter houses, and the more elaborate portable and permanent structures. Some lacked imagination while others helped in creating lasting memories. I know I'll not forget the first time I looked upon the MerleFest stage or saw Doc Watson pickin' from the end of a red caboose. Nor will I forget the late-night shelter house stage on the banks of The Ohio, while being entertained by our Russian comrades. Below is a pictorial expose of some of these stages as seen thru wooville eyes.
